Ray and Anne attending the Cannes world premiere of 'The White Ribbon'

In 1994 Ray's first feature film was in competition at Sitges, Spain along with Michael Haneke's feature '71 Fragments of a Chronology of Chance'. Unfortunately, neither of our films won the competition; it was won by 'Suture' directed by Scott McGehee & and David Siegel. 'The Mask' was also in the feature competition with a budget that was three thousand times greater than the production budget of  'Boy Meets Girl'.
